Pup

Today was a day spent with gorgeous granddaughter before she heads back to college tomorrow and gets her head down again. She's got a couple of jobs in local cafes so is busy most weekends and then of course having passed her test is in demand to go out with friends! However, she kept today free for me so we enjoyed a few hours together. Started with coffee ( me) and smoothie + carrot cake (her).  It was miserably grey and dull - but rain free thankfully.  We were heading to RHS Rosemoor, but got a photo of this beautiful pup from another friend, so after checking out it was okay to visit, we went and spent a couple of hours with Bailey, who is about 10 weeks old. What a delight she is - so full of mischief, but already will sit for a teeny treat! E played with her in the garden and wore her out!
We then went to see the donkeys who were in good form and then enjoyed a cup of tea and natter.
En route home we stopped in Instow for a Hockings (ice cream) - first of the year for me and absolutely delicious.
A glorious day out.
