Grandfather clock

- or Uncle's clock in my case.
It did not travel well from the UK to France and I couldn't get it working here. However a local Belgian friend foolishly said how much he liked repairing clocks and so we quickly shipped it off to him. 
He took it home ot Belgium over the winter and then returned to the Ardeche recently. Today was the day he very kindly reinstalled it here. It wasn't helped by the fact it is perched over a set of stairs and the fact that there are no flat surfaces in the house.
So far however so good.....
