Bob

There is a time for everything under the sun and whilst today we enjoyed a beautiful sunny spring day, there was a sense of sadness as we said goodbye to Bob. 

I knew his wife Rona better than Bob himself and it was to support her that I went along to his funeral... though saying that, the times spent chatting with him was always wonderful and it was great to hear about the time he spent at sea. 

It was lovely to hear about the different interests that he had but it was incredibly sad to see Rona so upset with the loss of her husband. 

I'm sure special memories will be treasured, but I think the sadness will remain with Rona for sometime to come.
