It is a quiet day here and Paul is on his way home from visiting his father.
I have been for a walk in the nearby neighbourhood. The swan is on her nest and there is a new narrowboat mooring near the canal side cafe.
Several trees are still in blossom and the polyanthus and tulips are beautiful. Paul phoned just after nine o clock and the Parish Church bells were ringing for the first morning service.
The weather is cloudy and overcast, but it is 8c and the forecast
is for a brighter afternoon.
