Grand Prix Rendezvous

Spent the afternoon watching the race: we were in prime seats to witness the pivotal accident that determined the race outcome. Exciting!! ….( although I have to admit that I didn’t really understand who was leading given how many cars had been lapped). Nevertheless, two full hours in the grand stand in full sun took its toll - and meeting the rest of the neighbourhood gang in the Yardhouse was a perfect ending to the afternoon before cycling back home along the beach.
Meanwhile Elinor scored a handful of goals in her tournament. A good day
