Cloudless beautiful blue skies, an abundance of kites, beach buggy riders, a small bird singing its heart out in the sweetest voice, coconut oil, reading in the sunshine while sipping tea—please, more of this.

Evening, a shower, put on some glad rags, then head to the lighthouse bar for Stevie's birthday celebration. He works on site, and it was his 65th birthday. I made him a zentangle coaster and wrapped it in white paper tied with a red ribbon.

When the going got tough during the winter months and all the packing had to be done, I longed for a day like this, and now it's finally here. I really enjoyed feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin today.
