Sitting pretty

Here is our Mittens sitting on the futon cover that my sister-in-law made. She gave it to us a couple of days ago. It took her about twenty years to complete but I suspect she didn’t spend every day on it, lovely though it is!
It being a lovely day, as our two grown up children are home for the weekend, I “persuaded” them that there was nothing they would rather do than come down to our our allotment with us and help us out, my back still not being right.
Well, what a power of work they did and they did more in three hours than I would have done in three weeks!
It just could be that I may have back problems next year when the allotment needs digging over!!!
