Generally a wet day but not too bad in the morning so J and I managed to get the four pieces of trellis attached to the wall, and he had some time to play with the kittens. Once he’d gone i did some ironing and vacuumed downstairs before Ju arrived with two grandchildren. They spent ages playing with the kittens , though we did walk down the road for tea and cake (in the rain) . Kittens were exhausted and slept all evening. Went to m and s for foodbank pick- up in the evening but despite waiting for20 minutes and ringing the bell three times nothing and no-one appeared. Strange.
