416 day of war

If life seemed gloomy and hopeless in the past few weeks, everything has completely changed this week. Firstly, we received a huge humanitarian aid from NRC. It was 4 boxes of food weighing over 50kg. Moreover, the quality of the products was much higher than what we received before. The food packages include basic non-perishable products, so we only buy vegetables and fruits when possible. And with such a large package, it seems that we will have the opportunity to do so in the future as well! We still stick to a vegetarian lifestyle, so vegetables and fruits are an important part of our diet, but under current conditions, this has become a luxury because the areas where used to grow vegetables are now either occupied or close to the front lines, and most of the vegetables we have now are imported. And with such a large quantity of products, we won't have to buy almost anything except cheese and vegetables.

I also received a response from the landlord, and she agreed to give us a discount on rent. Instead of $230, we will now be paying $190. Considering that the cheapest apartment now costs $160-170 per month, we think we can live here a little longer. The main thing is that we don't have to look for a new apartment and pay high commissions to realtors.

Also, thanks to regularly updating our social media, we were able to start receiving orders for our store and t-shirts again. Now we try to make interesting videos and photos of products and post something every day, but it takes a lot of time and effort. After all, managing social media pages is a pretty complicated process, especially when you're aiming for results. But now I understand that when I see a popular page, it's the result of daily work and a lot of effort.

In general, the country is preparing for Easter, which we will celebrate tomorrow. We are being warned about possible provocations and the threat of rocket attacks, but there have been none for a month now and I don't think Russia has any more missiles left for such attacks. So far, the only thing the Russian army is capable of is killing and brutally torturing people. And this is the terrible part of the war because every day in every city we say goodbye to fallen soldiers. Although it is a heroic death for the freedom of all of us, it simply should not have happened. This war is absolutely unprovoked and unjustified, and it seems like someone still lives in the Middle Ages and is trying to conquer the whole world by inventing stories that everyone around is bad.

Also, the information front is saturated with information about the upcoming counteroffensive, which is supposedly about to begin soon. As for me, it has already begun, but they will publicly announce it when the action becomes more active and our army achieves some successes on the battlefield. During this war, I realized that now war is not only direct military actions but also the information front. Our command makes some statements about the counteroffensive, secret documents appear, and a lot of untrue information, but there is confidence that this is just an information war, the goal of which is to confuse the enemy. In the end, I am convinced that this year there will be fundamental changes in the country and in the world as a whole. We are now witnessing how Russia gradually kills itself, intensifies repression of its population, and a dictatorial regime, and all of this will not lead to anything good in any case. Of course, the Russian people are used to "tolerating," but everything has its limit. And I believe that this limit is already close.

Якщо на минулих тижнях життя здавалось похмурим та безвихідним, то на цьому тижні все зовсім змінилося. Спочатку ми отримали просто величезну гуманітарну допомогу від NRC. Це було 4 ящика їжі вагою понад 50кг. До того ж якість продуктів була набагато вищою, ніж те що давали раніше. У продуктові набори включають базові продукти, що не псуються, тому з іншого ми купуємо тільки овочі та фрукти, коли є можливість. А з таким великим набором схоже що можливість надалі буде) Ми все ще притримуємось вегитаріанського стиля життя, тому овочі та фрукти це важлива частина раціону, але за теперішніх умов це перейшло у розряд розкоші, бо території де у нас найбільше вирощували овочей зараз знаходяться або у окупації, або у близості до бойових дій і більшість овочів зараз у нас імпортні. А з такою великою кількістю продуктів нам не доведеться купувати майже нічого окрім сиру та овочів.
Також я отримав відповідь від господарки квартири та вона погодилась зробити нам знижку на оренду. Замість 230$ тепер ми будемо сплачувати 190$. Зважаючи на те що зараз найдешевша квартира коштує 160-170$ на місяць - ми думаємо що зможемо ще трохи пожити тут. Головне що не доведеться шукати нову квартиру та сплачувати великі комісійні ріелторам.
Також завдяки постіному веденню соц.мереж вдалось знов почати отримувати якісь замовлення по магазину та по футболкам. Зараз ми намагаємось робити цікаві відео та фото товарів та щоденно щось викладати, але це займає просто купу часу та сил. Все ж таки ведення сторінок у соц мережах це досить складний процес, особливо коли ти націлений на якись результат. Але тепер я розумію що коли я бачу якусь популярну сторінку то це результат щоденної праці та великої кількості зусиль.

Загалом у країні зараз готуються до Великодня, який у нас будуть святкувати завтра. Нас попереджають про можливі провокації та загрозу ракетних ударів, але їх не було вже з місяць і я вже не думаю що у РФ залишились ракети на подібні обстріли. Поки що все на що здатна армія рф це вбивство та жорстоке катування людей. І це жахлива частина війни, бо кожен день у кожному місті ми прощаємось із загиблими бійцями. Хоч це і героїчна смерть за свободу усіх нас, але цього просто не мало було бути. Ця війна абсолютно неспровокована та безпідставна, таке враження що хтось ще живе у середньовіччі та намагається захопити увесь світ придумуючи історії що усі навколо погані.
Також інформаційний фронт насичений інформацією про майбутній контрнаступ, який начебто вже скоро повинен початися. Як на мене він вже почався, але публічно про це будуть казати коли справа піде більш активно та наша армія отримає якісь успіхи на полі бою. За час цієї війни я зрозумів що зараз війна це не тільки беспосередні бойові дії, а також і інформаційний фронт. Наше командування робить якісь заяви з приводу контрнаступа, з'яляються якісь секретні документи та багато неправдивої інформації, але є впевненність що це просто інформаційна війна мета якої заплутати супротивника. У решті решт я впевненний що у цьому році відбудуться кардинальні зміни у країні та світу вцілому. Ми зараз спостерігаємо як поступово росія вбиває сама себе, посилює репресії свого населення та диктаторський режим і все це у будь якому випадку не призведе ні до чого гарного. Звісно російський народ звик "терпіти", але у всього є межа. І я вірю що ця межа вже близько.
