Last day

Today was our last day in Venice before heading to the airport by water taxi. The main photo is Palazzo Sagredo. It is now a small 5 star hotel which is rated as one of the world’s great smaller hotels. About 10 people in a gondola on the Grand Canal looked to be a little risky.

The extras include a regal crown as seen inside a nearby church, a statue of merchant of Venice Barbaro who paid for the rebuilding of the Giglio Church in the 1600s, the front view of the Sagredo Palace, and our final view of Venice from the airport water taxi.
