Clears The Head

I decided early in the year that I would try not to respond to the deluge of e-mails, texts and messages that arrive almost every Friday. I have the setting on my phone and Mac that shows only the subject and sender so that I could glance and then leave them until Monday, it seems to be working.
Richard and Jackie’s this morning for coffee, didn’t get to see Jackie again but I thoroughly enjoyed meeting some of the family.
Long walk day today for Paddy and I, Swanpool, the steam, open fields and the cemetery, breezy sunshine and long enough to think a couple of things through and clear the head.
