The Young'uns

I went to see The Young'uns performing at the Union Chapel in Islington,  North London, this evening. They were excellent as usual, compassionate and gripping  storytelling in song,  and beautifully harmonised. One of their songs was about the NHS surgeon, David Nott, who has spent his annual leave operating on people in war zones across the world. He is truly an inspirational figure of selfless bravery  who gives his services freely to those in desperate need.  He was in the audience tonight to hear the song written in tribute to him and received a huge round of applause.
