Clear

Dreadful shot but happy but happy with it.
This is my first ever sighting of Goldfinches.
This one sat briefly on a branch, then a weather vane but slightly further afield was a small flock, darting about in the sky, right on Johnstone Terr. in the heart of the city.

Had gone for head clearing walk when I caught the sound of unfamiliar birdsong. Took a few moments to locate where it was coming from.
Only managed a couple of shots, then they were off - in the direction of George Heriots school.

A blackbird has started visiting the courtyard.
First sighting was of a Mr & Mrs a few days ago - lately just the Mister has come calling.
Put out some raisins for it
