Last day

Always difficult to leave when the sun is shining but leave we must.  We have had such a lovely two weeks all together and today we must part and head home once more but not before taking in the view. 
Two had to work this morning and I packed while our youngest felt a bit miz that she was going to be all alone after our lovely holiday. 

A small crisis as we went to bed after a long day of rain yesterday, the bath upstairs had mysteriously filled itself during the day.. turns out that having had the gutters emptied earlier in the week something must have gone down and blocked the downpipe into which the bath flows.. therefore the rain water came up in the bath.. thank goodness we were there or it would have overflowed.  However, amongst all the packing I was dealing with plumbers and emergency drainage men.. who have thankfully cleared and patched the pipe and for now no more water should appear in the bath except from the tap and should only remain in the bath while the plug is present!! Fingers crossed at least!
Home now as I type after a very straight forward drive south albeit a wet one.  Glad to be home and excited to get the garden going this week.
