Siesta

At 79F spring turned to summer. It feels like July, not April. We celebrated the heat with a breakfast picnic at the river, the first of the season! It was a relaxing start to the day, and something we hope to repeat many times until Autumn’s chill arrives • MrsP and I continued with some yard work but quit when it got to be too warm. The cooler week ahead will be much more conducive to getting everything else done • I turned on the AC for the first time, too. I couldn’t stop smiling! Tonight’s slumber is guaranteed to be cool and comfy :) • I spotted this mourning dove snoozing all by himself way up high in the woods. It’s a perfect afternoon for a siesta • Enjoy the weekend ahead!
