my last two reads by Hubert Mingarelli are sublime.  so well crafted, and despite being slim volumes, took me a while to read because you want to savour every moment.  and of course if you are of a certain age, they are a tiny glimpse of a world in which our fathers lived.

watching:  Fosse/Verdon on iPlayer - it's rather good.
