Tulip Flowers

A gift from a friend. A couple of hours after I took this photo all of the tulip's petals had dropped off. As much as I appreciate tulip flowers, I don't purchase the plants. Tulips don't survive in Florida, not even in Northern Florida. Our winters are just too warm and too short for them. There are methods to try and 'trick' the bulbs into blooming but from what I read the success rate is dismal. So, I'll plant my bulbs and wish them well, what will be, will be.
