Tent

Sometimes it's obvious that my children under appreciate the sheer brilliance that is me.

School inset day but nursery open, so I take the eldest 3 to soft play. Now I hate the place but they wanted to go so we went. And I bought them an ice cream. Then we bought child#2 a new bookcase and I took them to Asda and let them choose bakery crap for the weekend. As to paraphrase my mother in law, you can't buy cake for lunch and cake for tea. Then I acquired a half price tent from Argos. Then we collected child#4 and they demolished an entire baguette and large packet of ham. Putting pay to the idea that they couldn't have cake for lunch and cake for tea, then they feasted on millionaire shortbread and Looney Tunes whilst I made flatpack furniture and tents.

This is them in the tent in the dining room. Our new bed is proving a little too attractive (pointing out that we could all fit in it was a stupid idea as well) and arent I such a thoughtful wife to find a tent that fits a double air bed and can be put up inside so that husband#1 doesn't have to keep putting up the big tent in the garden for child#2.
