Flame of the Forest

'A small shrub which perks things up thanks to its burst of bright red new foliage in the spring (making a strong contrast with daffodils), which gradually turns pink, cream and then green. It also has spring flowers. It isn't completely hardy and needs to be sheltered from cold winds. '

Our Flame of the Forest is magnificient just now, it has grown into a large bush, and is really bright and contrasting with the other spring flowers.
