Sights of Japan day ten.
To get to Hiroshima by Shinkansen was an hour and a half to return to Osaka was to take four and half hours by bus.
A stop on the way for lunch at Hemeji where we also visited the Castle as seen in the main Blip. Considered by most as Japan's most magnificent castle for its imposing size and beauty and it stands as originally built as it has neither been damaged by war, earthquake or fire it is a National and World Heritage listed building.
It is quite a structure and the very top also has a shrine which we were told is unusual also reaching the top took some effort as it was built with defence not access in mind.
The Extra's show me getting "arty" and the Shrine at the top of the castle.
Other than the one hour drive to our Osaka hotel and the farewell dinner that was the end of our Japanese tour which was full on and very enjoyable.
