Focus live at The Ferry, Glasgow

In May 1973 I went to see Focus play at the Empire Theatre in Edinburgh. I went with a schoolfriend whose big sister was charged with 'looking after' the callow youths. The gig started at about 11pm as the bingo took precedence (?!). I remember being very excited at the sight of a darkened stage and the red amp lights. There were some 'unusual' and unfamiliar odours in the audience as well. Tonight (almost exactly 50 years later) I saw Focus again (about the 5th time) and they still create a buzz amongst an audience. An enjoyable evening of music from a band partly responsible for a life-long love of music and live gigs.
