Cowslips

These are growing in great profusion on both sides of this lane, The reason is because this was once a meadow and when they built the A1M link road they had to divert one road or they would have had to build 2 bridges over it very close together so they stopped off one road half way turned a corner with it and cut through the meadow making another lane.
It's beautiful this time of the year. This picture doesn't do it justice.

We met Kirsty in the wood today and Tanzy didn't know what to do with the situation because there was her beloved Kirsty with another dog,  she came back to us and told us such a tale in her own way woowooing and squeaking, it was so funny. Kirsty was finishing her walk so didn't walk with us.

Had a quiet day, did some sewing well mending things that needed seeing to, I save them up and then spend a day or so wending my way through them.

Bright sunshine and heavy showers on and off throughout the day and chilly too, I had to put an extra cardigan on under my coat this morning, back to winter weather.
