Flip the Clown
The Glaswegian family took us to the Heritage Farm at Kent Museum of Rural Life at Allington. It must be decades since we last went there so it was interesting to see how much the place had changed.
We all enjoyed the visit despite the some heavy showers one of which occurred while we were inside watching the show. In a packed audience two of the three children we were with were chosen to go up on stage to “help” with various trick including spinning plates and assisting the clown ride a unicycle. Great fun indeed.
An interesting mix of animals an entertaining. Plenty of domesticated animals on view from lambs to donkeys and everything in between. The entertainment included the circus act, soft play area, tractor rides, mug painting and so on.
There were many historical buildings from around Kent and the South East which had been moved to the site. All very interesting if a little down at heel in places.
