Californian Lilac

We have a couple of these in our garden: ceanothus (commonly called Californian Lilac) is quite beautiful when in full bloom, just smothered in bright blue flowers and highly attractive to bees.
This one is about half in flower and I had high hopes of getting a blip of one in action but they were so quick I only got a couple of 'blurs' in a dozen tries. So here you have a beeless blip!

Looks bluer and brighter large - although still beeless!
