Wedding

We were invited to the wedding of one of our residents this past weekend. Surprisingly, it was at a Protestant church, The City of Refuge Church. We mistakenly arrived on time, and waited an hour before anyone else arrived. Luckily there was a cafe attached to the church, which served macchiatos, by donation. When things got going, there was a lot of enthusiasm, and fun. All in all, it was perhaps very similar to a ceremony in an evangelical church in north America (except it was all in Amharic)
