Cumbrian butterflies

Tonight we had a talk on the butterflies of Cumbria at our April WI meeting. A really interesting presentation from someone who knows his stuff. I organise the refreshments for the meetings and had a fraught day with both of the volunteers dropping out due to illness. I had lots of cake as I had one in the freezer and I had made a Simnel cake for Easter so that was covered but I was struggling to find volunteers to make the tea. We ended up with four volunteers and all the cake was eaten. Phew.
