Into Darkness
Phoebe looking quite intense at dinner tonight - we were both super tired but we managed to have a really nice evening.
I was up at 5:40 this morning for my second shift at work. It was a bit of a nightmare because I ended up being there until 3:00, so about nine hours, and I still can't figure out how I was still awake when I finished. It was an okay shift, despite the length - I worked with Anna again, which was good. It was pretty quiet, which was frustrating. The shop was spotless and perfectly organised because we had nothing to do except tidy up.
I tried to nap this afternoon to no avail, which meant I was exhausted by the time I headed out this evening. I met Phoebe in Camberwell for dinner and a movie - our first catch up for about two weeks! It's weird, I see her about three times a week usually, so I've missed her. We had a really good chat over dinner and then headed over the road to see Star Trek (second time for me!). It was a late session and because I'd seen it before I actually struggled to stay awake in the quieter bits, but I still enjoyed it!
Somehow I made it home and into bed afterwards, and finally got to sleep about nineteen hours after I got up. A long day but a good one!
I gave in to my exhaustion and used the flash instead of actually figuring out the settings, hence the harshness of this photo. I like it though, Phoebe is kind of emerging out of the darkness and she looks very intense; her eyes look stunning (as usual!).
