Flower Fursday...

There is a point in every flower's life where they are at peak display, and today is probably the day for this trumpet pitcher plant flower. 

I've used a little fill flash against the early morning blue sky - who knows if it will stay that colour all day - because I can't easily move the plant from my study windowsill; the flower stem is two and a half feet long!

Still... at least there aren't many flies in my study! Bright blocks of red and blue, but not really abstract for #AT407
