Ginger biscuits

I baked these this morning as they are Barry's favourites. I try to keep a ready supply. I like them too but try not to eat too many, all that sugar and syrup! I keep a supply of Rich Tea for myself, boring so I don't eat that many!
This afternoon I walked to my matting group. It was luckily between snow showers but was really cold. The wind was very wintry. It was only a group of seven today but it was good for chatting along with the matting and the obligatory tea and biscuits too. 
I made a pastry pie crust to cover some leftover veg for dinner, nice and easy and a bit of a change.

For not much snow to lay on the ground so I could have a walk
For baking skills learned from my mum
For chatty friends
