a playdate

I collected Ada this morning just after 8 and then Lucy came at about 9. I was looking after them before they went to a dance workshop. They were brilliant. They made lovely cards for their mums from the flower postcards I bought from Royal Mail with King Charles on them We played shop and cafe, did a sticker book and played catch with soft toys. They tidied up and carried the toys upstairs on their shoulders. I took them to dance then drove on to Burnley for a hygienist appointment. She is new but worked with Nicola (who was there for 30 years and I knew quite well) and is really nice but her technique is different. 
I met Margaret for lunch at Townley garden centre, I had forgotten she cant drive as she had a carpel tunnel op 3 weeks ago, she had got the bus and walked. We chatted for 2 hours and I insisted in taking her home as it was wet and cold.
I did do some shopping on my way home treating myself to some new lounge cushions from Matalan., they were reduced always like a bargain.
