Shirburn Hill
My friend JB came down for the day. We managed a 16 mile (that's about 36,000 steps) circuit in the Chilterns in the most appalling weather - torrential rain, hail and winds gusting at 45 miles an hour. I only took one photograph during a brief respite in the weather. It was this view down the valley from halfway up Shirburn Hill, a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest for its chalk heathland. We didn't see another person all day.
