Drama at the theatre carpark

We popped into town with our granddaughters, using their parents' car  and parked outside Theatr Mwldan.

Long story short: we ended up with the nearly-two-year-old,  the dog, and the keys locked inside the car.  (Possibly the dog  stepped on the central locking button.) And it was pouring with rain.

We called the children's parents to bring another set of keys but there were none. Local garage could not help, advised calling emergency services.

After a long while, during which the baby woke up and wondered why we were outside and she inside, a fire appliance turned up and six burly men leapt out.

Attempts were made to engage the central locking switch by inserting wires,  dog barking (she hates hi-vis), baby becoming increasingly upset and even more so when her parents arrived and joined the throng of concerned faces trying to pretend it was all good fun.
Meanwhile  4 year old sister was beside herself with alarm and consternation.

Finally a window was broken, as  quietly as possible, and the drama was over - quickly forgotten by the children with the help of hot chocolate medication in the theatre bar.

Car window and grandparents remained shattered.
