Day 3: Long Distance Race

Tony has spent a great deal of time going backwards and forwards to the Lake District in recent months as he was Controller of the Long Distance Event today at Bigland.  I was positioned in a strategic spot near the exit from the forest to catch orienteers running at speed to the final controls you can see here in the background, and he came over to see how I was doing before heading up in to the woodland to view the progress of competitors.
