Dentist

After a morning at nursery, it was another first in the land of Katie. Today she had the first successful visit to the dentist where she actually sat and let the dentist look at her teeth. She's very proud of her princess sticker. The dentist unknowingly chose Katie's favourite. We'd been chatting about going to the dentist and practicing. She was seeming ok about it. She sat and watched Mummy, she got a little upset when she had to be moved a bit away from me for me to have an xray, but still came and sat on my knee for the dentist to look.

The dentist is in the village where we used to live and I think Katie felt the familiarity - when we came out she said to me that she didnt want to get the bus, she just wanted to walk round for a while. I could see her looking and thinking it all over. She liked the village a lot. She loved just walking round it when she was smaller, we had a route that she used to lead us on. We'd go from our home, just off the high street and make several stops, always in the same order. We did a little of our walk today and she asked to go into the supermarket. "To buy cucubumber, carrots, a cauliflower and sausages" so she told me. She ate most of the half cucumber on the bus home as well as a sausage roll. We stopped to meet a friend for a drink before we headed back home.

*We only played one thing - babies. Oh and nurseries.
*We didnt do much running.
