Sparkle

We're down in The Land of the Little Tykes again, except The Tykes aren't so little anymore. They've grown since we saw them in October and Dan is on the quick run-down to secondary education.

The family had a great card game prepared for us. Not having seen us at Christmas they prepared lots of little wrapped presents and put 3 on the table. The cards were dealt and as a card was turned over from another pack, the person with that card helped themselves to a present. Great, I thought, I've one something! But no, as the game went on, as each card was revealed the person with THAT card could take a present others had chosen. 52 swaps later it was the people left with the final cards that got gifts!

So we did that many more times until all the little gifts were taken. Great fun! I came away with a bath bomb and a mini bottle of Prosecco.

As we adults sat around drinking this evening my attention was drawn to #1 Daughter's nails and sparkly glass!
