Leaves

It was warm today. After work I went down to the river to see if I could catch the cygnets swimming, but they were hiding in the grass on the island in the river. Instead I saw a beautiful cat in the grass, but I could not get a decent shot of her either, so I decided to take a close-up of some very fresh aspen leaves. This new they are so beautiful and smell wonderfully, one spring one of my cats got stuck in a small one. I heard her cry so I went out to rescue her, which I actually succeeded doing. When I went to bed that evening she joined me (probably to show her gratitude) and I thoroughly enjoyed the smell she radiated - a rich aspen fragrance!
