Night 2 of the new routine....

Had yet another lovely day today, Eva slept for quite a bit of the morning again but once we were washed, dressed and downstairs around midday, she had her usual fix of C Beebies and was squealing in excitement at Numtums, especially at the 10 dancing carrots, it was so funny, her little arms were going and everything.
We went into Kings Heath with Jenny and her little Eva in the afternoon which was lovely. 2 ladies stopped me to tell me how lovely Eva was so I was a very proud Mommy, Eva was all smiles as usual and loved being out and looking all around her. I couldn't stop staring at her as usual. We had coffee and cake at Costa and Eva went to sleep, she didn't even wake when I was legging it back to the car to get out of the hailstorm lol!
We got home around 5 pm and Eva was still shattered bless her, I fed her but she was falling asleep so it got to 6.30 and I decided to try and settle her for the night so gave her her bath and got her ready for bed then fed her on the bed and she was spark out literally by 7pm. She was back awake by just before 8 so I went up and tried to settle her back down which took Til 8.50pm, it's now 10.40pm as I write this and although she's stirred a few times and I've heard her on the baby monitor, she hasn't woke since. We'll see how she sleeps tonight and what time she wakes in the morning to gauge whether I'm doing the right thing or not by putting her down earlier. I guess it's trial and error but its not easy deciding what to do for the best and not mess up her sleep patterns.
Right, gonna go up and do a nappy change and top up feed and see how we go :-) x

Back again, needn't have changed her nappy it was practically dry, she woke briefly, had a good solid feed and is tucked up in her Grobag with snuggle bear fast asleep. It's 11.30 pm.
