Already raining

Even in this photo it’s raining but the rest of the day it was very much more obvious.

We were battered with blustery showers and occasional hail and in the middle there was thunder and lightning, very, very, no it really was frightening . At one point the thunder rumbled on for 4 or 5 seconds and loud enough to make sure it really was thunder and not something worse - we are under the flight path for Manchester Airport
