We have babies

Our male blackbird managed to attract a female with a bit of help from me. I’m the provider of the daily supply of grapes. They viewed the existing nest in the big tree, but settled on a new nest in the Mahonia bush. 

We have watched the comings and goings and now that mum is occupied with sitting on the eggs I have been able to get a shot of her. Dad is very dutiful and provides a good supply of worms. 

A wet day as forecast. I spent it doing bits and pieces. Tidying up the things from sewing last Saturday and preparing for sewing tomorrow and Wednesday.
