Indie in the goat willow tree

I sat in the garden having a cup of tea sitting in a chair at the patio table. There was a brief slot of sunshine so I grabbed the chance to sit in it. I took my camera with me on the off chance.

I heard Indie before I spotted where sh had got to. She climbed onto the fence and then on to the cabin roof before eyeing up a branch of the goat willow tree. We do worry about her as she has little sense about where she climbs, particularly with regard to how to retreat. today was a case in point. Once she'd got bored of her branch she eyed up several different modes of getting down. Her first choicew is always to leap from the highest point and then she thinks better of it.

Indoors she is often on top of the doors in the house, and we usually hear her little cries of anguish. I worry that she will hurt her leg joints or land on something sharp. But like any cat she there is no chance of training her. Today she eventually retraced her steps but it took her about twenty minutes to work it out.
