Dear oh deer!

I was getting ready to go home this morning after a lovely weekend on the island, but it was good to look out of the front window and see a couple of red deer across the road!

Back to Craignure on the bus - late arriving as there was some sort of emergency on Iona this morning involving an ambulance, or at least that's the excuse the driver gave me for being 20 minutes late!

Arrived in Craignure in sunshine after a drizzly journey - good to see the hills streaming with water as they were much drier on Friday.  A wide rainbow was straddling the bay and it was odd to see a rather ghostly bulk carrier emerging from the end of it - my extra today!

A choppy trip back to Oban, totally ruined by the constant hooting and squeaking of numerous car alarms going off. There's a rule that says that drivers should switch their alarms off, but it's obviously not enforced. Eventually I was forced to go inside, though I could still hear them. Very annoying!
