Burano

Today was Burano day, visiting this famous island of brightly coloured houses to the north of the main island of Venice.

In the extras you see the Burano church on Easter Sunday, and a beautiful Vizsla dog that became our friend of the 2 hours Vaporetto ride back to San Marco. It even jumped up onto Paladian's lap as seen in the photo.

This visit to Burano was a pilgrimage in a way to our Adelaide artist friend Ingrid Erns favourite place. She used to love going there on a regular basis to do her paintings.
