Chilly bike ride

At home, mid morning, during the Easter Egg hunt and cake eating, the sun broke through the morning mist to reveal a lovely spring day.
Ideal, I thought, for an afternoon bike ride to Pevensey and the usually very welcome ice-cream van.
Three miles from home, the sun disappeared. It didn't reappear until 3 miles from home on the way back. The intervening miles were unexpectedly and uncomfortably cold.
No ice-cream van was seen or required. 
I got home to learn that the sun had been shining all afternoon (as the little man's red neck will confirm). 
The extra is him with the cake he mainly created for the neighbours to share. Very much appreciated it was too!
