Galactic design

As modern design shapes attract me, Helsinki is the right place for me to visit. This is the City of Design. This sculpture is by Kirsi Kaulanen and adorns the main lobby of Helsinki Music Center. It was made in 2011 and is called 'Gaia', which is the Greek name for the goddess of Earth. But the lights and shade projection turn it into an intricate galactic design.
