easter sunday

Sometimes there seems to be a hallucinatory quality to this time of year..maybe because of the fasting and then the feasting.

Anyway this morning there were party poppers, bonnets, flowers and an unexpected appearance by the Easter Bunny. I couldn’t resist asking for a photo with Mum and he was happy to oblige.

My sister and two nieces joined us for lunch and stayed for games of cards in the garden and now they are playing cat dominoes. Dad watched his team draw with Liverpool. Mum nodded off. Jacalyn and I had a walk round the block.

D is phoning me soon. It’s our 35th wedding anniversary today :-)
