This exactly describes Jacob today. He managed to get knocked over into a dirty puddle at school, soaking his uniform through and so was changed into his PE kit for the remainder of the day. For some reason, Jacob decided to label his own white T-shirt with felt-tip pen. A few jobs for the washing fairy, then?
