Ruins of Brahe Castle
I spent this Sunday geocaching and hiking at Ristiina. Ristiina is a small and old historical village at Lake Saimaa area in East Finland. These ruins have originally been built as the administrative seat of the county on 1600 century by the Swedish Governor General Per Abrahamsson Brahe.
The weather was nicely warm (+10 C) and sunny, so it was very nice to walk in snow-free forest tracks. Lakes are still strongly frozen and there were many people on ice walking, fishing, biking, skiing or driving with motorized vehicles. My result was 26 logged geocaches. Quite a good amount for one day.
