The Chicken

This was a chicken at the "Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings" State landmark and park in Cross Creek, Florida. We also visited her grave site at Antioch Cemetery near Island Grove, Florida.

This was the day before Mother's Day and friends took me all over north central Florida to keep my mind occupied. It worked and we ended up in Daytona Beach where we ate fresh shrimp and oysters. It tuned out to be a great day but I paid for it with pain the next couple of days.
