I found the Easter bunny!

Technically, someone else probably found the Easter bunny and placed him here, but then I found him here and took his picture. 

I made TWO friends today! That is a pretty awesome day. 

Everything is beautiful. Yes, some of the blossoms are down from the wind but we have enough to still be beautiful. In fact, it is a more delicate sort of beauty. All the trees have have red buds. If they don't have red buds, the have BRIGHT PURPLE ones. There are splashes of yellow everywhere with forsythia and daffodils. 

I bought some bareroot ephemerals today. One of the ones they didn't have is Claytonia or Virginia Spring Beauty, but she assured me that the corns I've planted in the past might still come up in a future year. Some of the plants I bought are like that, like trout lilies.

Russia has lost at least  2000 tanks. It ca't find high-tech components to build new tanks so it is using tanks that were obsolete decades ago.  Russia is also low on qualified, trained tank crews. 

Russia's ability to hurt Ukraine's electricity grid had diminished so much that Ukraine is resuming electricity exports.

The Russian ruble has fallen to its lowest level since April last year.
