Good Friday

Breakfast with Mrs S, always a pleasure, to get the day off to a leisurely start. We have some plans for the weekend but they will follow after my usual Friday meet up for coffee with friend Richard. I never saw Jackie, but we were joined by Richard’s friend Mel for half an hour or so.

Back home and with the industrial size, battery operated, strimmer I set to on the years worth of grass grown in the back garden lawn. Still not dry it took some cutting but we got there in the end using both the rugby club and our own strimmers, looks better and tidier.

More coffee and a chat over what’s planned for the coming days and I made a start on the shed, there is probably enough tools in the shed to equip a couple of workshops.

E-mails sent, new PAT tester and security lights organised for the rugby club before an evening reading and eating chocolate.
